Pyro, I tried to comment on “Looking Back in Anger,” but I couldn’t get the comment to go through, so I will give it to you here.
You are dead-on with your analyis. I am not a Dem, but you nailed it. A golden opportunity is being blown by the party and the primary system they crafted. If they really wanted to pull a rabbit out of the hat, they should get her on the top of the ticket with Obama’s blessing. The incoming fire on Obama is ferocious, it will get worse, and he cannot win. People know Hillary and there will be no surprises between now and November with her. He is the gift to Republicans that keeps on giving. Can’t say I wish you luck in the fall, but you have a clear eyed view of your side.
